University Holiday Parking:

Lot 83 Update: April 1-30
🚧 Service Road will be closed in front of the T.B. Simon Power Plant all April for utility installation. Local access to nearby facilities and Lot 83 will remain open.
🚙 Detours: Use Harrison Rd or Farm Ln to reach Trowbridge Rd.
🚶 Sidewalk: North‑side sidewalk stays open with a temporary bypass.

Construction on MSU’s new Engineering and Digital Innovation Center at the northwest corner of Red Cedar Road and Wilson Road has begun. Please be aware of increased construction activity, periodic routing changes, and upcoming parking impacts. Employee Parking Lots 56 and 57 will permanently close on March 9, 2026. Please refer to the enclosed map highlighting alternative parking options to help you plan ahead.

In-person Office Closure: In-person services will not be available from 12/22/25-12/24/25. Phones will continue to be answered and the Visitor Center will remain open for permit pick up.

Bike Permit Pick Up Reminder:
Once registered online, MSU Bike Index permits must be placed on the bike to be considered fully registered. Permits are available for pick up at the Visitor Center on Trowbridge Road from 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday.
Please have your MSU ID and the email used during registration ready for reference when picking up the permit.
Grand River Ramp 6 / Lot 103 Parking Update:
Effective immediately and until further notice, Grand River Ramp 6 / Lot 103 will be permit-only on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m to 3 a.m.
Visitor parking will NOT be available during these hours.

Following a thorough review of MSU’s parking needs and lot usage, several changes have been implemented for the Fall Semester. These updates affect Lots 29, 33, 103 (Ramp 6), and 112.
• Lot 29: Payment required 24/7; employee permits are no longer eligible. • Lot 33: Employee permits required 6am–6pm; SPOT ON payment is no longer accepted. Overnight restrictions added: No parking 2am–6am. • Ramp 6 / Lot 103: No longer mixed use. Upper levels (past the gate) require employee permits 24/7; ground and basement levels require payment 24/7. • Lot 112: Payment required 7am–Midnight; employee permits are no longer eligible. Overnight restrictions updated: No parking 2am–6am.
