@MissBrownsBoy Wow. I could recognise straight off the MBE and Military Cross… both of which were very hard to get and not regular “campaign medals”. So he must have done some extraordinary things to get such recognition. How fascinating it must be to research and learn about.

@MissBrownsBoy I had a couple of three yearly ones and then they flipped to annual. Must have appeared more suspicious as time went on. It’s a faff, but the one good thing is they are reasonably priced. If you had to do annual in the UK, you’d feel it financially. As in, it’d be crippling.

@damoncoulter @Lightroom What annoyed me was when they disabled features (such as location mapping) on my purchased and therefore supposedly stand-alone version, saying they were no longer supported on the version I had, and that I’d need a subscription to get those features back in future.

@PaprikaGirl_JP Don’t often see gokiburi here in London, but when it’s wet we see more spiders make their way in to join us. Might try this tip to see if it helps keep them at bay.

@davidrmunson @hizaga It’s all very regular and logical. I love it that you have your big standard “poo”, with ear wax being “ear poo”, and bogey being “nose poo”. And of course, I’ve just awoken with a lot of sleep in my eyes… and that’s “eye poo”.

@hizaga You can try downloading some free software called “handbrake”, which lets you download DVDs onto your hardrive. You can then upload onto the cloud somewhere to keep it safe. We’ve done that with key videos of ours.

In the @RMGreenwich Queen’s House, he excitedly showed me he had found a bust of Olaudah Equiano in the next room. He found the book fascinating and keeps telling me about his story. Thank you.

@RevRichardColes Perhaps a bit niche in terms of architecture appreciation, but some of the u-bahn stations are really interesting (for instance, Westfriedhof on the U1/U7 lines or Candidplatz on the U1 line).

@AlfieJapanorama Don’t see it myself. Photography for me is the art of capturing a specific moment in time, in a way that can be preserved and shared with others. AI won’t ever do that; it’ll merely provide (a possibly easonable) facsimile of something, but it won’t ever capture genuine moments.
