@Prolotario1 I am a CASAC, credentialed, alcohol and substance abuse counselor in New York State, and when I had to complete the required coursework for the certification, I had a professor/teacher who counseled addicts who also abuse children inappropriately. Meaning: help is out there!

It don't take long for somebody to catch on to how you roll. Writing down guidelines, rules, or affirmations and taping it on doors, walls, and the refrigerator is a "YOU" thing. The stapler. The pen. The paperwork. The schedule.

You shouldn't have to walk nobody through these so they know how to treat you. Them being in your space looking at how to take care of yourself and what you do on the day-to-day basis to keep track of everything will tell the whole story.

And they will dismiss themselves from your life when they realize you are not playing around with your time, skills, and life in general. People know who to play with. Discipline removes parasites from your energy field.

This is why people try to convince you that "it ain't that serious" mantra so they can get you off your game and impose how they think you should play to give them more room to look for holes to exploit.

It’s rarely about helping you loosen up it’s about creating slack so they can slide in and take what they want without resistance. Staying locked in is the quietest way to say “not today.” Stay on your game. Too many drifters out here.
