health policy, music, cats, voting rights, medical ethics- all as ways to dismantle white supremacy. Working at NYU medical managing @CupaEthics (she/her)
I can’t stop thinking about the quarter million Americans who couldn’t vote this week, because they died— as a result of policy decisions that allowed Covid to run rampant through our most vulnerable communities.
@maria_m_town@elijahsaprophet Not an expert but I raced for a few years- the reason to have them sharp has to do with preventing you from skidding across the snow/ice. It matters way less if you’re not trying to go fast, or are skiing on soft snow! I waxed and edged my own skis so happy to answer questions!
Tomorrow! Continuing #nursing education units available! It is going to be an amazing day of story-telling, contemplating best practices & missteps, & seeking to elevate compassionate use policy & practices around the world. What an important endeavor!

@afrosabi I appreciate your transparency on how you’re feeling with this. It’s good to know people are being mindful of risks to all aspects of life, from social to mental to physical. I hope the decision comes clearly and you feel good about whatever you do!!
I highly recommend listening to the podcast This Land by @rebeccanagle on @crookedmedia . This is a particularly important issue for indigenous communities for many reasons. Just another reason that reproductive justice is an issue that impacts communities differently.
I see some folks missing something about the impending disaster. I just saw someone ask the question "who is going to adopt all these babies they want to force people to have?"
Y'all... evangelicals want them. That's part of the grift.
