US HR lawyer Eric Lewis renewed calls for Imran Khan's immediate release, warning that his imprisonment is now an international humanitarian concern.

He stated: “At a time of global instability, leaders who command public trust and speak beyond narrow politics should not be silenced in prison.”

His article argues that prolonged incarceration, political isolation, and restrictions on IK have elevated the issue beyond domestic politics into debates on democratic rights and human dignity.

Lewis stressed that IK’s release is a matter of justice and political necessity for Pakistan now. Denying a major leader his role weakens democratic credibility and deepens uncertainty when stability is urgently needed. His remarks add to international concern that respect for democracy, constitutional order, and fundamental rights is vital for Pakistan’s future.

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran.

This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war.
