@Nexo_Editor Shit is weird man, I feel like 4 out of 10 "hiring video editor" posts nowadays are just fake and engagement bait.
I don't know how much that works for them though, doesn't seem like a good strategy to get more than a few likes and DMs.
@TheHexpest@willowtarka Yeah sometimes what people associate the song with is half the fun in listening to it. City Pop is so frequently paired with anime aesthetics and summer vibes that it creates a specific fantasy that "british band" doesn't, even if they sound just as good.
@willowtarka I guess it happens with everything. Thing gets more popular with time, more people interact with it, statiscally many people are interested in it but not that much so they interact at a surface level and it comes off as odd, "larping" or whatever.
@ghoulbasement Agreed
1. Avoiding physical media due to disc rot is like not cleaning your room because it gets dirty again, it's 5yo logic.
2. No one fully dislikes digital media, we just don't trust companies to do digital preservation like they should, and physical helps with that a little.
@SpecterM91 I have a bunch of PS2 and PS1 games that I bought recently (they were not originally mine) and they all work perfectly. The only type of disc I know is prone to early disc rot are Dreamcast games (GD-roms). Most other discs are fine I would assume.
