They are afraid that if they release games on PC at the same time as PS, players will prefer the PC over the PS and leave their console. Their response to that fear significantly hurts their game sales on PC.

Sometimes a character with low power level will beat an extremely powerful character simply due to power compatability.

We were grinding their lines to dust in a fast and brutal push, but ran out of manpower before we could get all the way through.
Verdun was too static for the comparison.

Also a lot of armor on both sides.
