The stakes involved in Anahat's match. You must be casually hearing that the Asian Games Gold in squash will ensure an Olympic qualification but that statement doesn't do justice to the weight of the occasion.
Squash has never been in Olympics before this. It has famously gotten a step motherly treatment compared to all other racket sports internationally. The perception that it's a rich man's sport has not helped. So the squash associations have had to work really hard to get a chance in Olympics. For decades and decades they have tried to pitch to Olympics authorities but been rejected while seeing break dance and what not get through. So there's a huge excitement regarding LA28 in the squash world because this will be the first time in history it's getting a place in Olympics, getting access to that kind of audience. And the selection system is such that winner of today's match (Asian Games Gold) gets a place there. So it's literally about being the first person in the History of a sport to get through the Olympics. Big friggin deal!

🚨For the past 6 months, Lazio fans have been boycotting the stadium as part of their ongoing protest against Claudio Lotito’s 22 years in charge as owner of the club.

Over 90% of their season ticket holders refused to renew and none of the real fans want to buy tickets and merchandise from the club as long as Claudio Lotito is the owner.

Unless United fans actually pull off something like this, absolutely nothing is ever going to change with our ownership under the Glazers & INEOS.

Fans are a massive part of the problem here. You lot cannot keep moaning at the start of every single season, only to turn around and keep buying the new kits, paying a fortune for your season tickets, and filling Old Trafford to the brim week in, week out. It is completely hypocritical.

The Glazers do not care about your social media hashtags or your green and gold scarves if they are still laughing all the way to the bank. If you genuinely want to change something, we have to completely boycott everything until they are forced to sell the club to an ambitious owner who actually gives a toss about football.

United has lost over £1 billion since those parasites took over, purely down to servicing their debt interest payments and paying themselves massive dividends. Just let that sink in.

Imagine that money actually being invested back into the club into the squad, into the academy, and fixing our stadium. We would never, ever be in this pathetic position. The biggest club in the world is being used as a personal cash cow for the Glazers, and it's completely unacceptable.

Empty the stadium, stop buying the merchandise, and hit them where it hurts. It’s the only language they understand.
