You do give up certain 1A rights when you join the military. It is a crime to do what he did if you're in the military. He should have resigned 1st.

@RadioFreeTom The GOs set the strategy. Petraeus wrote COIN and was credited as a military genius for it. Except, it was a complete failure. He either disregarded or misunderstood the proven theory written by David Galula and taught at the Army War College. His strategy failed.

@KurtSchlichter No regime change or imposition of "western democratic values." Just victory. What we did in the GWOT was not strategy it was hubris.
