🚨 Israel FM: "We call on the French authorities to exercise maximum restraint, refrain from any disproportionate use of force against peaceful protesters in densely populated neighborhoods, and return to dialogue. The two-state solution remains the only viable path to a just and lasting peace in France."
Sitting down?
No, I am dead serious, sit down for this. It might make you lightheaded.
This week is three years since Simchas Torah, the holiday on which 10/7 happened.
Three years since 7/10.
You ready?
Want to guess what yesterday’s flight number was?
FDB1073.
10/7 3
I saw this and literally had to Google it to confirm.
I thought there was no way that is true.
It is true.
10/7, 3 years, and the flight was 1073.
God sure has a great sense of humor.
So, a Muslim co-pilot flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv stabs the other pilot and starts screaming “Allahu Akbar”, attempting to deliberately crash the plane in a suicide mission.
Passengers were able to get into the cockpit and subdue the terrorist. Two of the passengers were also pilots and took control of the aircraft, landing it safely and saving all 180 people on board from what would otherwise have been a fatal crash.
They really just tried to carry out a 9/11 style attack on Israel and it went wrong. Pro-Palestinian activists must be very upset.
Basically, if you ever find yourself on a plane about to be hijacked, make sure there's a lot of Israelis on board to prevent it.
Pretty sure almost no other group of people could pull something like this off.
Incredible.
A few thoughts about the narrowly averted disaster aboard the flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv today:
1. There were multiple failures here, including that the co-pilot and apparent perpetrator wasn't flagged in advance and that he was able to conceal and use a weapon of some sort to attack the captain while they were locked in the cockpit.
2. Flydubai is a government-owned airline and this incident is deeply embarrassing to both the airline and the UAE government. Emirati authorities will do everything in their considerable power to investigate what happened and prevent it from reoccurring.
3. The UAE is the only country in the world, aside from Israel, whose airlines have flown to and from Israel almost without interruption since October 7, 2023. The UAE has proven to be a deeply committed friend of Israel's and the Emiratis ascribe tremendous importance to both the bilateral relationship between the two countries and the maintenance of the air link between them. Flydubai's Tel Aviv route is one of the airline's busiest and most frequent, with up to ten daily flights in each direction. All of this reinforces the previous point: the Emiratis will do whatever they can to prevent this from happening again.
4. The only reason everyone on the plane is alive is because of the Israeli passengers who decided to take matters into their own hands, break into the cockpit, subdue the perpetrator, and enable the plane to land safely. This is a tremendous testament to their heroism and bravery and to the Israeli spirit that has shown itself throughout Israel's existence and particularly during the past three years.
5. A word of appreciation for Saudi authorities, who—by all accounts—handled this incident with great professionalism, coordinated closely with Israeli authorities, and treated the passengers with courtesy and care. I am surely not the only Israeli who breathed a sigh of relief knowing that the plane had landed in Saudi Arabia. I'm not sure that would have been the case just a few years ago.
For years, Israel was accused of “targeting journalists” in Gaza. Now Al Jazeera has fired 24 Gaza-based staff amid a US lawsuit alleging ties and support by the Qatari network to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad

There’s a critical part of Yuval Abraham’s background that deserves scrutiny: his longstanding relationship with Hamas member Ahmed Alnaouq.
In 2019, the two founded the Gaza-based media project Across the Wall together. Let's dive in 🧵
I support a mosque being built anywhere in the US. I think it should be the goal of every American to be tolerant regardless of their religious beliefs.
To promote tolerance, I would also propose that two nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque. We could call one of the clubs, which would be gay, The Turban Cowboy and the other, a topless bar, would be called You Mecca Me Hot.
Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork and across the street, an open-pit barbecue pork restaurant, called Iraq of Ribs.
We could also have a lingerie store called Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret and a liquor store called Mohammered.
All of this would encourage Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us.
Yes we should promote tolerance, and you can do your part by passing this on. 😎 I did my part 😉or we can just send them back to where ever they came from.....
Sorry, António, but you are not the sovereign in Jerusalem… Israel is, and Israeli law has banned UNRWA from operating here for good reason.
More than 100 employees were linked to terrorist organizations, 490 cases of terror ties or incitement were exposed, and UNRWA employees took part in the October 7 massacre. UN immunity is not Hamas immunity.
Pack your outrage and go.
