"In the middle of winter, being locked in a basement waiting to die? These few dogs in Huzhou are too miserable.

These puppies are locked in a dark, damp basement that reeks. With the weather so cold, they are shivering, yet their sensible nature breaks your heart.

What's even more terrifying is that neighbors say the owner of this house is a well-known "dog-eating maniac," and these puppies could be slaughtered at any moment!

Not only does this resident keep dogs in the basement in a foul-smelling environment, but they also allegedly kill cats to feed the dogs, causing the dogs to refuse to eat.

Animal cruelty is not illegal in China. The law doesn't prohibit killing your own dog for your own consumption.
