@RoseTDempsey Hello Rose, I’m a historian living in Ireland working on a biography of your ancestor, Pamela Fitzgerald. I found you via media related to your late mother. If you are interested and free to chat I have requested to follow you on IG. I’m looking for images and stories. Thank u!

@EvanRiggss Unless you are like me and marry someone who turns out to be a violent alcoholic who takes half of everything you own when you divorce them. Then your thirties look kinda different. Marriage is not magic and not the same for everyone.
@NotScottNewgent Tough one. Caring about others is what makes the world a better place, but we can’t save people from themselves. Worse if they’re not even conscious and we can only watch in horror. How’s that for a metaphor?
@roisiningle @MarianKeyes U r woefully mistaken- we S’mount/Irish t’n resdents don’t object 2 cycling, we object to 1way traffic, esp 2 the incinerator, east link, port, tunnel, airport and planned glass bottle site dvlopmnt being funnelled thru narrow residential streets where there are Junior Schools.
At @FightingWordsIE the kids receive a printout of their story with blank spaces for more story or drawings, a blurb, and « praise from the critics ». We always check that they know what that means, and one kid answered... « are those the things that keep you awake at night?! »
