My current employer just called and asked, “Since you took a new job, what’s your plan for getting the company truck back to us?”
What’s my plan? Nah, man… What’s YOUR plan for getting YOUR company truck back to you?
It’s not my plan, it’s yours. It’s not my truck, it’s yours.
@HardPass4@TommyFaceOnFire As I often say, “I should never be the smartest man in the room, unless I’m the only man in the room. And even then, it’s debatable”
@graya13@Bhess Potentially. Depends on what corporate fleet management decides is the best plan for getting the truck back to the office by my last day of employment.
@JamesRHarrigan No matter the distance, I drive in complete silence, so I am completely alone with my thoughts.
Last weekend was a 14 hour drive, one way, in absolute silence.
@alarmtech68 When I said it was up to them to make the plan I was told, “I’ll get with ______ and hopefully get back to you tomorrow”
So, it’s a waiting game
@mosiposi2000 At what point have I claimed I was keeping the truck, moby?
What I said was, it’s up to corporate fleet management, not me, to make arrangements for the return of the corporate fleet vehicle, which is written corporate policy.
@CodyTaplin No problem! I’m sure I’ve got a bunch of buddies that’d happily drive 1200 miles one way to pick me up after I drop the truck off.
Should I do that before or after my employment ends next Friday so that I’m not a POS to the people that put food on my table?
