@NYSPEF And we got nothing but lip service.. as usual. Give us the same contract that CSEA got. This will save years of negotiations as well as countless taxpayer dollars. We won’t ever get a better contract than them. Worst thing that ever happened was PEF splitting off from CSEA.

Take a look around the state- we aren’t struggling to hire grade 20s. We cannot adequately recruit for grade 8s to come through the ranks.

@NYSPEF Shame on PEF for not fighting for Geo Pay for all members. You have no problem taking our dues but can’t be bothered to advocate for ALL titles, not just the managerial titles. This knee jerk reaction proves just how out of touch Albany and @NYSPEF actually are with reality.

@NYSPEF They allow folks to work from home more than 2 days a week. In typical fashion, we’ve taken care of the folks at the bottom and the folks at the top but the lions share of the people that do the work daily are getting the shaft. Good luck attracting and retaining technicians.

@NYSPEF We don’t have a problem getting engineers here. Our problem comes with retaining technicians, the folks that do the majority of the work. What a slap in the face to all of the PEF titles that were left out. The private sector pays more, they match 401k contributions and
