Drew Brees’ granddaddies came back home, perhaps to a local parade. My uncles and dad came back home to people saying, “Get on the back of the bus.” And they all sacrificed to serve this nation! Brees still doesn’t get that.
@MizzouSportsDoc I don’t believe kids will be forced to wear masks to play. It’s very tough to workout let alone play a sport with a mask on. South Korea professional baseball has started up and no one is wearing a mask. Adults more at risk than youth? Fans/parents will have to though. Thoughts?
It was a pleasure talking with @pihps_jh to help students understand what physical therapy is all about, my specific career path to get to where I am today and helping people better their lives!
Physical therapy is an important speciality to help those who’ve suffered an injury get back on track. Thank you @MSterensonDPT for talking to us about your career!

Just spoke about this with a year round baseball athlete who’s been dealing with elbow issues but hesitant to take time off. Thanks! @TheAMSSM for the backup!
"Some easy recommendations to keep in mind would be no more than eight months per year in a single sport, and no more hours per week than the athlete's age in all organized sports," says Dr. Eric Post.

This article explains the risk of sports specialization and the ⬆️ risk of injury at young ages. How can we explain to kids that taking a day off during the week, 2-4 months off during the year or play other sport ⬇️risk? https://t.co/Tt3xKoOS4c
I just talked about this with two youth athletes yesterday about taking time off from their 24/7/365 individualized sport to allow recovery and encouraged them to play other sports as they both are injured due to overtraining related injuries. They both gave me this look... 😕🙄

@MillettMD Who better to deal with “decreased strength, pain, poor function & decreased range of motion” From rotator cuff tears than physical therapists? #thisiswhatwedo
@MillettMD I have a question about your explanation of conservative treatment on this subject. Do you think physical therapy has any role in helping with these so they don’t need surgery? Or possible complications arise if they are truly inactive for long periods like adhesive capsulitis?
My fav manual technique for Sh pts. Pts hate the pain/discomfort but when they see instant results with ⬆️ pain free ROM, They buy in! https://t.co/o1RiMV2eEW
