Dear Publishing Industry,
This is where you double down. This is when you publish POC, LGBTQ, trans, and disabled authors more than ever.
Donโt be complicit.
all i can say is live. you have to live. if youโre trans, queer, a woman, bipoc, disabled, an immigrant: you must live. we have to support each other. we have to be visible and loud if and when we can. and above all else we have to live
Love that moment in Lord of the Rings when Frodo sees flowers growing on the statue of an old king and says, โThey cannot conquer forever.โ Whatever comes, whatever fresh horrors tomorrow brings, a new day will come. Until then, we continue the fight.

Do not mourn October.
November is truly the spookiest month. Grey, cold and bleak. The lush gold and red are gone, mornings dark as sin. Now the trees are naked and brittle things, no baubles yet hang to catch the light.
November is October's nastier, meaner cousin.
Enjoy it.
Happy Halloween friends. May the pinnacle of Spooky Season infuse you with a desire to search out the uncanny, to battle monsters and to never ever ever leave your friends behind
