Mary is angry people won't post critical feedback from their "real accounts."

But any time someone posts critical feedback, she tries to take legal action.

Stating facts isn't libel, but no one wants to be wrapped up in "battle of the lawyer's letters" with an unhinged woman.

Yesterday in Discord Mary begin to be nasty as she always is when posting or responding to students’ very valid questions. I didn’t catch most of it but this is what sent the chat into a TIZZY. NOTE she posted the NGR video on her ig on Sunday at 12:40ish PM.

Some students were only able to make partial payments for the course. They were not given course access, but were also not given refunds. Mary just kept the money.

One student paid over $2,000, but couldn't pay the rest. Mary kept the money and denied course access. #mtbf

Mary is threatening people who discuss their negative experiences with MTBF, so look for new/burner accounts.

They'll be more likely to honestly share the details of what went down.

Look out for Mary's new school she's starting.

BUT simple accountability tools aren't what students paid for, so expectations weren't met.

And STOP shaming #MTBF students for getting scammed. It was NOT wrong for them to believe the “get 6-fig tech job in 6 months” selling point. I attended a 6-month coding bootcamp and went from 48k to 96k (base & bonus) in less than 6 months.

MTBF students are the real victims. They aren’t dumb or lazy for wanting structure or lonely for wanting community. Instead of the “I TOLD YOU SO!” & “YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!,” let’s support Cohort 2 students b/c this is their lives& livelihoods on the line. It’s not jokes.
