The 4th wrapped up their study of force, motion, and simple machines with a Soap Box Derby car presentation. They watched a video of the car racing and then saw examples of how it works. We hope to have a Soap Box Derby club for 5th graders next year at MTCES!
Today we celebrated a year of learning with our kindergartners! Despite the many challenges this year presented, they have grown so much and are ready for First Grade.
Field Day could not happen without this amazing duo! Thank you to our "chaos coordinators" Mrs. Hinker & Mrs. Lindloff for all of your hard work in organizing our day. You are simply the best!
Today, 8th grader Anna Ehrnschwender was awarded a scholarship from the Aubrey Rose Foundation. In her presentation, Mrs. Nancy Hollenkamp noted Anna's heart for service. We are incredibly proud of you and know that you will continue to share the light of Christ beyond MTCES.
While cicadas might be the talk of the town, at MTCES the second grade has gone a little buggy! There are bees, dragonflies, termites, and ants just to name a few of the creepy crawlies who have arrived. Check out their awesome work!
We had a beautiful evening for our second grade First Communion Mass. Father Ric reminded students that just like they need food, air, and water, they also need soul food. That soul food is the Eucharist. Congratulations to all of our First Communicants!
Our K-5 track team, made up of 45 MTCES students, finished up their season on Saturday at the CYO Championship. These students grew so much over the season as they participated in a variety of track and field events. Congratulations on a great season!
Congratulations to MTCES graduates Evan Scott ‘20, Brock Wissel ‘20 and Tanner Coe ‘20 for helping Moeller High School win the GCL-South Freshmen Baseball Championship.
