Our fifth and final player for #LARQ @manakalebusby is a player who has been into Riftbound since day one of the announcement. He has played plenty of different card games but fell in love with Riftbound especially quickly. Being a big fan of the LPL he was excited to combine his passions.

He started off strong being the first ever best of Ahri at RQ Houston. Then making top 8 of some of the first SCG Riftbound events. He slowed down after that but is looking to amp it up again and show he still has what it takes. Kaleb is also a great brewer and loves to innovate on the meta.

Our fourth player @BrainsickHater
is another player new to Riftbound coming from Magic. With an RC top 8, he's played in one World Championship and five Pro tours, including one top 8.

Christian might be a humble guy and the newest player to Riftbound on the team, but we know it won’t take him long to get up to speed and start showing his prowess.

Our third player made the move over to Riftbound early on @Straight_Shade came onto the scene in great fashion with a top 64 result at RQ Vegas. Before making the move over to Riftbound Charles played Magic with great results such as being an SCG champion, an RC top 8, one Pro tour played and multiple NRG top 8s.

Charles did not get to play as many RQs as he would like this year but is looking forward to changing that going into RQ LA and beyond. Charles is an expert at playing the most powerful deck and tuning it to fit the meta. Watch out for him to be playing Baited hooks at RQ LA.

Time for roster announcements before #RQLA. We are going to be rolling them out one at a time all day long.

Our first player we would like to introduce is our Team Captain @ominousmilkTCG . A professional Magic player with multiple NRG top 8s, a Spotlight win and two Pro tour qualifications. He is also coming off a top 32 at Regional Championship Baltimore.

He made the move into playing Riftbound professionally earlier this year and is looking to make his mark on the Riftbound scene. He earned invites for the first ever Regionals/Continentals at his only two RQs, finishing ninth for best-of Yi in Atlanta, and top 32 in Hartford.

Our second player to be announced is a new player to the Riftbound scene @MTG_derrick. Just because he is new to Riftbound doesn’t mean you should count him out. He has a long list of accolades in Magic and is ready to show he will have the same in Riftbound as well. Some magic results are 12 Pro tours played including a top 4 result in one, three world championships including a top 4 in one, an RC top 8, two times NRG champion, and an SCG champion as well.

Derrick has a lot of competitive experience and is looking to bring that to the Riftbound team to help in many aspects. Be it in testing or how to bring a winning mindset Derrick will put in the work. Expect to see Derrick at the top tables soon

With all the PTs of 2026 completed, it’s time to recap another successful Pro Tour!

Coming into the event, we knew this was our best chance to make a very strong run. Historically, Modern has been our best Constructed format, not to mention the Top 8 being Limited!

Hi everyone! I'm Marco Del Pivo, also known as PivoUlivo, although many of you probably know me for one simple phrase: "Buongiorno, Pivo!"
I'd like to take a few minutes of your time to talk about @Mengu09 and explain why he's the very first name that comes to my mind when I think about the #mtgHoF.

So, let's start from the beginning:
"Who is Andrea Mengucci?"
I could answer by saying he's my best friend.
I could say he's family.
Both would be true.
But the first words that came to my mind were simply: THE GATHERING.
Because Andrea isn't just someone who plays Magic: The Gathering. He represents everything that makes this game special.
He is the purest expression of love for Magic - for the game itself, for its people, and for the community that has grown around it.
I've never met anyone whose eyes light up the way Andrea's do when he starts telling a Magic story. It doesn't matter if he's talking about how a card was designed, the excitement of a new set release, an unforgettable tournament, a trip around the world, or a tiny decision in a competitive match.
Every story reminds you why we all fell in love with this game in the first place.
Of course, Andrea's competitive achievements speak for themselves. He has built one of the most impressive careers in Magic. But if you ask me, that's not what defines him.

What defines Andrea is the impact he's had on people.
Starting from the beautiful town of Senigallia, he helped inspire generations of players.
He welcomed new players, challenged experienced ones, built communities across every format, and showed us that winning is important - but sharing your passion is even more important.
He didn't just become one of the greatest players in Italy.
He became one of the faces of Magic around the world.
When people think of sportsmanship, dedication, kindness, and passion for this game, they think of Andrea Mengucci. To me, Andrea isn't just a champion.
He's the friend who reminds you why this game matters.
He's the person who brings people together.
He's the reason so many of us are still here, still playing, and still believing that Magic is about more than cards. It's about people.
So if you ask me, "Who is Andrea Mengucci?"
My answer is simple. Andrea Mengucci is Magic: The Gathering at its very best.
And I can't think of anyone more deserving of this honor.

For this PT I had the pleasure of working closely with @AVS_MTG, @Nick_Odenheimer, @Benjitheblobfis & @leearson on our team-list that emphasized on Arcbound Ravager as a way to beat Vexing Bauble (metafy out soon). The deck was a fine choice but got paired into a row of GOATS after going 2-0 losing many close matches to fall short of making Day2😢

This PT was also the first time for me to lead the team in constructed at the PT level, and I’d love to thank @del_pivo90 & @mtg_derrick for supporting me on this journey. Sad not to convert myself, but still very proud & validated by how the team performed overall, as we had 2 great team decks for this PT! (Crystalith Broodscale & Affinity)😎

I’m sure I’ll be back very soon with the help of the RC team, and I’m also excited to be helping lead the team for Worlds / PT1, even if I won’t be there.

A solid start for Worldly Counsel: 9/14 players made Day 2, with a 54% Limited win rate and 56% Constructed win rate.

Broodscale was our standout deck, posting a 67% win rate. 🐍
