EOY Culture-Builder:Take a Centrally-located bulletin board & create a “Student/Staff Shoutout” wall. Divide the board in 1/2- 1side to shoutout staff, the other 4 students. All 🫵🏻 need are post-it notes & pens. Watch the faces of pp when they recieve 1️⃣Great way 2️⃣end the year!
If you want students to be All-In, you have to be as well!
Model kindness through student leadership, starting at the top. One of my favorite activities was to have our Senior PEER Leaders collaborate w/ elementary student, to show how easy it is to make being nice the norm.
“Connection before Correction” is all about emphasizing the importance of building relationships first.
Relationships Matter- 1 of my fave PEER Leadership initiatives was our “Welcome Home” event, where new & transfer students were introduced to our school’s family Day 1! Meeting a new friend that is impactful, intentional & authentic in establishing positive relationships
