I realised I've not been consistent with posting so here's one that I've been working through almost since I started my congregational songwriting journey. It's called Let All Creation Sing Redemption's Hymn

Song note:

The song that is being sung is the song of redemption because history is not a string of unrelated events but the story of how God will bring about His creation purposes. Verse 1 talks about creation and God's ability to do what He has said, Verse 2 looks at our redemption as the work of God alone and finally verse 3 looks at our glorification and how we wait with eager longing for the day Christ comes back when all will be put right.

[Verse 1]
Lord we praise you for your goodness
For our souls are washed in your truth
Hearts are filled with joyful knowing
You complete all the work you do
Who has fashioned this earth from nothing?
Who has said "Let there be" and it is?
Who has made us in likeness of him?
Who but God can say "Live"?

[Refrain]
Declare His glory, Oh worship Him
Raise endless anthems to our God and King
Let all creation sing redemption's hymn

[Verse 2]
We were dead in our transgression
From the grave could not reach for hope
All creation groaned in anguish
Till the Son sent to ransom souls!
