On the very last day of Kindergarten, we celebrated the letter Y with Yearbook Day! I made a virtual yearbook using pictures taken on the first day of school and students shared their most favorite memory from Kindergarten. I will certainly miss this amazing group of children! โฅ๏ธ
On the second to last day of Kindergarten, we celebrated โX-Marks the Spot Day!โ We spent the day doing scavenger huntsโfinding things that rhymed with hose, things that rhymed with glue, different shapes, and things that started with different letters!
On the 3rd to last day of Kindergarten, we celebrated the letter W with Word Wall Day! Students each had a different word wall word and led us in a chant!
On the 7th to last day of Kindergarten, we celebrated the letter T with Travel Day! Our students shared where they would like to travel and why. They are going to be exploring some amazing places!
On the 10th to last day of kindergarten, we celebrated the letter Q with Quiet Day! Students brought their pillow to class and curled up in a comfy spot to learn today!
On the 12th to last day of Kindergarten, we celebrated the letter O with Origami Day! We made a cat and a dog. I was super impressed with how well the students did following along!
On the 13th to last day of Kindergarten, we celebrated N-New Name Day! We had some seriously silly new names and one student even claimed the name โMrs. Barnesโ!
