Jarvis 🏴 relentlessly presses forward and muals opponents except when he fights Eersel he sits back and lets Eersel hit him.
Eersel 🇸🇷 wins again.
🆕 George Jarvis’s second shot at Regian Eersel’s ONE Championship lightweight Muay Thai world title is set for Friday night after both cleared weight and hydration for The Inner Circle 33.
The Surinamese champion weighed 169.2lb and the British challenger 169lb for their five-round rematch at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
Jarvis is looking to show how much has changed since Eersel knocked him out in just 84 seconds in August 2025.
The 26-year-old has earned his way back with a unanimous decision over Sinsamut Klinmee in March and a second-round knockout of Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong in June.
“I just did everything wrong,” Jarvis said of the first meeting, framing the rematch as “me versus me”.
Eersel, 33, is seeking a fourth successful defence of the Muay Thai belt, but is unconvinced by the challenger’s claim that he is a different fighter.
“To tell you honestly, I didn’t seem to notice any difference in his last two fights,” he said.
In the co-main event, Thailand’s Duangdawnoi Looksaikongdin chases a fourth consecutive win and a US$100,000 main-roster contract against Swiss debutant Aline Seiberth.
All 28 fighters passed weight and hydration, with five bouts on The Inner Circle and nine on ONE Friday Fights 173.
Tonglampoon FA Group vs Dionatha Santos Tobias has been promoted to headline Friday Fights after Buakaew Sor Sor Pakorn’s bout with Nat Khat Min was postponed.

Regian Eersel 🇸🇷 dynamic lanky fighter throwing high knees from a shelled dutch guard.
Eersel isnt a fundemental Muay Thai fighter but a dynamic and conditioned kickboxer.
Jarvis's only real weapon is his left hand and thats not enough to beat Eersel.
Eersel wins again.
George Jarvis 🏴 has showed elite level conditioning in his recent fights. He presses forward relentlessly and mauls his opponents with strength in close range without fatigue until they fall.
When he fought Eersel though last year he passivley took the backfoot.
🇬🇧 George Jarvis passes hydration (1.0095) and makes weight (169.0lbs) ✅️

🔴Mammoth Sor.Salacheap🇹🇭 more experienced but slow in space, likes to be in close to stab in knees.
🔵PetchAnda Kiatyodying🇹🇭 lanky fighter with a recent run of Knockout wins. Should win by firing the right kick and following with punches.
Decent winning streak for 🔵PetchAnda🇹🇭 now.
He was the more dynamic fighter longer and able to stick his jab out and then stab the torso.
WMO had Mammoth ranked # 6 in the world. Definitley PetchAnda's best win.
I can see a lot of guys beating PetchAnda though.
Rodtang could mix it up better than any fighter in Muay Thai at one point.
Now, he's been inactive for too long and isnt in the gym.
Nong-O stays atcive, stays in the gym and lives and breathes Muay Thai.
Nong-O beats Rodtang soon.
🚨 Official brackets for the ONE Championship flyweight Muay Thai world Grand Prix ✅

I scored that fight a draw. GGG seemingly had a cult like following. I think it was the unassuming look that most people related themselves too.
Janibek 🇰🇿 is a much better fighter. He would beat the breaks off Canelo.
