What switch 2 dock does fundamentally is transfer a video signal and provide power, something any dock can do. The difference is nintendos encrypted handshake which doesn’t allow any dock in spec to work

Unfortunately since you can’t infer and since tweets can only be so long you didn’t understand that means any dongle that supports the same specs as the switch dock. Any meaning a select few not all

@nio4537 @DLundi_ @Drtre81 I showed you this as an example for how inexpensive it could be if we were allowed to buy usb docks with same capabilities as the stick dock but Nintendo doesn’t allow this because of their encrypted handshake not because the specs are too low on third party docks

This isn’t about usbs capabilities this is about Nintendo purposefully blocking any docks that are compatible with the standard

You really should learn more about anti consumer practices like Nintendo’s that force you to spend more when you can save more and get same functions and better quality products
