@phalanxturtle In Texas, youre generally allowed to use force proportional to what you reasonably believe is immediately necessary. Deadly force may be used to defend yourself, another person, or property in certain narrowly defined situations. And a push or punch is generally not cause for DF.

@Stayatsnowshoe Honestly it could go the way of the person without color bc they were in the right. But we all know of several situations in which justice was not served fairly. None of us can fairly speak on this situation bc it was a closed court case. We don’t actually know what happened.

@Stayatsnowshoe You are so right. This isn’t about race at all. And it is ignorant to make this about race. Thats what creates and maintains racism. However, you cant ignore that these situations tend to favor a person without color. Right or wrong, it is something that can be acknowledged.
