Note to self: After an outsized move like we saw 8/4, the market saw some profit taking on 8/5 that led to minor pullback. 8/6 has chopped around as profit taking continues on volume and buying at support.
Is this the end? Markets and $VIX going straight up would seem to signal a prop to provide exit liquidity but then again $SPY seems to be squeezing through all the shorts still for no publicly know reason
Can't figure today out. There was a nice base a reversal starting at 11:30 on $SPY. I can't find anything material that happened that has now led to non-stop selling for an hour while the biggest companies in the index continue to rise
Great bounce, basically back to even. Didn't see much in the way of dip buying on this contract but might not matter if this strength continues into the rest of the week. $FIG
$FIG $28 call buyer wonβt be too happy at the open
The $28 calls saw activity with over $1M premium at an average contract price of $.20 as Figma closed at $23.65 β
75% of that volume appearing as new open interest on short-dated, high IV calls
#FIG is down 6% in premarket
