This morning, Makerere University had the privilege of hosting the @Parliament_UG Committee on Education and Sports. We discussed the challenges the university faces in protecting its land. I thank the Committee for their concern on this matter. Members also visited our farmland in Kabanyolo to witness firsthand the extent of the encroachment.
Water Scarcity is Choking Our Farms
As water resources dwindle, crops struggle, soils degrade, and livestock suffer. With less water for farming, global food production is at risk.
Join us on 5th Oct at Makerere University Agricultural Research Institute Kabanyoro 10:00 AM

DON'T WORRY TO LOSE YOUR ONIONS AGAIN
HERE IS SIMPLE TRICK
Onions prefer consistently moist, well-drained soil with a pH between 6.0 and 7.0. They also grow best in loose soil that's high in organic matter.
