Each year, Uganda registers approximately 24,629 Cancer-related deaths 🥹🥹.
That’s why this year, all Rotary Clubs in Uganda are, once again, Uniting for Good to raise an additional 4bn to complete the final phase of a modern cancer treatment facility at Nsambya Hospital.
Proceeds from previous Cancer runs have gone to construction of a 36-bed cancer ward in Nsambya and support for a Rotary blood bank in Mengo.
So, as is tradition, this morning, I represented the Rotary Club of NMS In formation (@RotaryClubOfNMS) for a fun Cancer Run Activation organized by Rotary Clubs along the Entebbe Corridor (Kibuye to Entebbe Airport).
This year’s Cancer Run is on 31st August in Kololo. Please buy your kit and let’s Unite for Good, One Act at A time.
