This afternoon at the Gabiro Combat Training Center, President Kagame is meeting with the 16th cohort of Itorero Indangamirwa, the civic and national values training program for Rwandan youth, organized by the Ministry of National Unity and Civic Engagement. This year’s program has close to 800 participating youth between the ages of 18-23 including Rwandans living abroad, and students from across high schools and higher learning institutions in Rwanda. He was received at Kigali International Airport by RDF Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Mubarak Muganga.

Gen. Muhoozi is scheduled to meet President Paul Kagame during his visit.

UGANDA'S CDF MUHOOZI TOURS KIGALI'S FLAGSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, toured several of Kigali’s flagship infrastructure and urban development projects on Saturday as part of his official visit to Rwanda. The visit included the ongoing expansion of King Faisal Hospital, where capacity is being doubled from 200 to 400 beds, with new facilities including an intensive care unit, VVIP wings and a helipad. He also visited Nyandungu Eco Park and Parklane Estate, he was accompanied by Kigali Mayor Samuel Dusengiyumva. #FactsOnRwanda
