MUTED is an independent platform dedicated to amplifying silenced voices through documentary filmmaking and storytelling.

Our upcoming film Mahrang Baloch @MahrangBaloch_ is not only the story of an individual, but an exploration of resistance, women’s struggle, collective memory, and human dignity as universal values.

The recent suspension of the accounts of several Baloch community representatives and committee members on X highlights once again how fragile – and in need of protection – these values are. @BalochYakjehtiC

As MUTED, we would like to state that:

Freedom of expression and access to information are fundamental human rights;

We observe with deep concern every attempt to restrict these rights;

Despite all forms of pressure, we will continue our work with unwavering commitment to independence, solidarity, and making the truth visible.

MUTED, bağımsız belgesel sinema ve hikâye anlatıcılığı aracılığıyla görünmez kılınmış seslere alan açmayı amaçlayan bir platformdur.

Bu doğrultuda hazırlanmakta olan Mahrang Baloch @MahrangBaloch_ belgeseli yalnızca bir kişinin yaşam öyküsünü değil; direniş, kadın mücadelesi, toplumsal hafıza ve insan onuruna dair evrensel değerleri konu etmektedir.

Dün Baloch topluluğu temsilcilerinin ve komite üyelerinin X platformundaki bazı hesaplarının askıya alınması, bu değerlerin ne kadar hassas ve korunması gereken alanlar olduğunu bir kez daha göstermiştir.

MUTED olarak;

İfade ve haber alma özgürlüğünün evrensel ve vazgeçilmez bir insan hakkı olduğuna inanıyoruz.

Bu hakka yönelik her türlü kısıtlamayı kaygı ve dikkatle takip ediyoruz.
