Today I signed the National Plan to End Parkinson’s Act – a law that will help prevent, treat, and cure Parkinson’s disease and similar disorders.
This law is about dignity. It gives people hope that we can end this cruel disease and that we can still do big things.
Last week some of our SoS students presented their honors work: Noa Bass, Biology (MCP),
Abigail Eck, Mathematics (Stats),
Olivia Hiers, Chemistry (Biochem), and
Adriana Simancas, MEBP. Thanks to the @MU_HonorsSchool for a well-organized event!
TOMORROW, 8 A.M. ET: Tune in as UCI Director @tmacdUCI moderates this #COP28 Virtual Ocean Pavilion closing event on #climate and the Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ) agreement. Details: https://t.co/eQBav0lFuc
Another successful weekend of outings with our friends from the Berkeley Striper Club. We fished it hard under less than perfect conditions both days and managed to get acoustic tags in 15 stripers.
As always, thanks to all who came out!
Thanks to Mary Grace Baker ‘10 for coming back to campus! It was great to catch up and we all enjoyed your wonderful presentation about food allergies.
