I saw this cassava chips production machine.

The complete line does the following,

✍🏻Peel the cassava
✍🏻Wash the cassava
✍🏻Slice the cassava
✍🏻Dry the cassava

So, instead of depending on the sun 100% to dry your cassava which is only possible during dry season, you can be working all year round.

Many Chinese companies that buy cassava here in Nigeria prefer dried chips but it is difficult to get it all year round.

Not too long, we got an export deal for dried cassava chips but couldn’t sign it.

Why? It is raining season here in Nigeria.

If we take such deal, we will have quality and consistency issues. And it will lead to loss.

Buying and installing such processing line will help you meet buyers demand and earn money consistently from cassava.

Recently, a ton of dried cassava chips is N170,000 and fresh cassava is N50,000 only.

Farmers in Lagos are crying over submerged farmlands 😢

Farmers in Ikorodu, Epe, Imota and Ojo axis of Lagos are crying bitterly over the loss of their ok investment due to flooding as the floods has submerged all their farmland

This flooding affected mostly vegetables and maize farmers. The more challenging thing here is that many farmers can't plant until the flood is gone (who knows when).

Lagos would have to depend on other states for vegetables and other key crops.

We urge the Lagos state govt to help strengthen flood-control infrastructure, expand access to agricultural insurance, provide affordable financing and promote climate-smart farming practices among these farmers.

Flooding is a big problem for farmers during the on season in Lagos.
