We have been packing out all and every dusting of snow since December 1st. Our base is getting better. As of December 20th our snowcat has been laying down some good track as well as classic. Thin conditions exist throughout most of the course.

The Mountain Village Nordic trails will continue to be groomed through Sunday, April 9. With the coming snow, we look forward to extending the season another week. Thank you, Parks and Recreation! Thank you to all our residents and visitors. It has been a fun season.

Parks and Recreation is happy to announce that grooming has resumed on our Nordic course. Please come and enjoy the sunshine. Our course is in fantastic shape.

Today our Snowcat took an injury. We are working hard and quickly on repairing it. The Parks Department will be packing out any new snow with our snowmobiles for a short time. We will keep everyone updated. Thank you for your patience.

Repairs have been made to our Snowcat. And our crew has been working hard to catch up on grooming. We are pleased to say Nordic is fully open! The night crew was working night shifts through the new snow to give you a great course.

Our snowcat for Nordic is in need of some TLC. For the next few days it will be getting the mechanical attention it needs. With the colder temps, the Nordic course is still in great shape with a solid base. The course will still be open. We will have further updates ASAP.

Snow Cat has been operating since Jan 1, 2023 and the #Mountainvillageco Nordic course is now fully open. Conditions are extremely soft but will soon be better with cold temperatures coming.

The Dept is currently packing out the Nordic course with our snowmobiles and a pull behind groomer. Conditions are still thin and icy in spots. With snow in the forecast we are hoping to set trail with our Snow Cat asap.

Nordic grooming in #MountainVillageCO has been suspended for now as temperatures have warmed thinning out our snow pack on Nordic trails. If we receive any significant snowfall, we will be able to resume grooming.
