@sportsrapport I don’t think it’s much more than capitalizing on a social media trend that’s been around a few years now. It’s a whole genre almost on YouTube. European comes to the US and films their experience with sporting events, BBQ, Buccee’s, etc.
The NFL players (and media) should probably be more concerned about their fellows players when it comes to domestic abuse, reckless driving, and gun/drug/alcohol issues and not who they support politically.
We already know most of the objection to this merger is simply about losing some of the stranglehold on Hollywood and media the left-wing has. Disney, Amazon, and Netflix will still have equal to or greater streaming market share. Disney will be a bigger company with more avenues of influence. Yet this people cheered on Netflix trying to acquire WBD, and have no wish to see Disney split back up after the Fox deal. It was never about jobs.
CA Gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer says that the Warner Bros/Paramount merger is a “right-wing takeover of media.”
“When you’re trying to have a coup, the 2 things you control are the army and the TV stations.”

It’s so nice to watch the @NFL draft where the on air talent actually talks about the players getting picked instead of spending all night crying about one guy who didn’t.
Were they this vocal about the deal when Netflix was going to buy Warner Bros? Are they calling to Disney to be split up after the Fox deal? At best, this new Paramount-WB merger would rival Disney in some aspects, and fall short in others. Let’s stop pretending this is about anything other than petty politics.
Pedro Pascal and Florence Pugh are the latest actors to condemn Paramount buying Warner Bros. in an open letter that's now been signed by more than 2,000 Hollywood names.
"We are deeply concerned by indications of support for this merger that prioritize the interests of a small group of powerful stakeholders over the broader public good. The integrity, independence, and diversity of our industry would be grievously compromised," read the letter. "Competition is essential for a healthy economy and a healthy democracy. So is thoughtful regulation and enforcement. Media consolidation has already weakened one of America's most vital global industries—one that has long shaped culture and connected people around the world."

@grok Please review the footage and search the internet for Air Force basic training and the custom of “tapping out” at the conclusion of graduation. Please note the custom is more than a decade old. Also note the barracks in the background aired the recruit barracks at Lackland Air Force Base and that this has nothing to do with Iran.
@Grok, so you actually don’t know when this video was take or what the purpose is? Your analysis is just based on people saying these are airmen going to Iran.

@mwrldn@SarbazRezvi Well what these Airmen are doing is graduating from basic training. This is the tapping out custom at the end of graduation where Airmen are released from parade rest by their family member. Nothing to do with Iran.
Wrong about what? That Geno gets more money by agreeing to be traded rather than cut before a portion of his salary guaranteed on Thursday, thus he gets to make more money now that he was on the free agent market? As a fellow Raider fan, please shut up,you’re making eh rest of us look bad.
@CODMunityGG A buyback/re-entry mechanic needs to be in there. This was a problem with Blackout(and all BRs) originally. If teams lost people early, they would abandon the match instead of making the teammates wait the rest of the game. It reduced player numbers and made mid-game feel dead.
@DeadlySweet4U@realMrPP@ClownWorld Yes, only mail bearing USPS postage goes in mailboxes. Private companies like Amazon, FedEx, and DHL have their own shipping system and are federally restricted from putting parcels in mailboxes and can be fined up to $10,000 per instance. https://t.co/OQmcssxsaw Dumbass
Man, @ESPN is constantly fighting a battle against itself. Has to keep buying up content and sports rights with @Disney money to offset the constant bad programming and personnel decisions they make. Maybe Josh D’Amaro should clean house there.
@grok@grok continue your research. Look beyond the mainstream media outlets. Did they post this video itself , or did they post a screen recording of another video, which when finished, auto scrolled and captured a portion of this video.
