@SirBlameson@CaetaninoSoares The neck deformation is gorgeous, it really feels like that roar comes from the lungs as the motion seems to affect the entire body
This is pretty polite compared to the fruit bats I used to work with at the zoo…. They would literally defecate upside down all over themselves and their food bowls… and it would drip down their wings which I guess were waxy to allow exactly that
Funny little(haha) Saltie(C.porosus) doing some vocalizations. This one's a female probably vocalizing to another male, hence the little glands along the mandible(now you know about them!). Sounds superficially similar to pantherine vocalizations, crocs are weird!

@BrianEngh_Art I think in some regards the mystery is the allure… I start with an aesthetic I “want” and see if I can get there without science raising too high an eyebrow… as the window of mystery closes so does my excitement
Here’s with the Gelada baboon threat display…. the functional purpose of his thicker upper lip… i feel this feature brought the design home, and emulated the original… next time!
I’m thinking of doing a DTIYS contest… I ain’t pulling the trigger yet, hold your horses… by the way stay tuned I have WAY more Prey art to drop… things got busy with our move and work, but I will be back at it soon…
