I have made the decision to leave voice acting, or rather not focus on it as much. I have recently discovered my true passion is writing and I will be focusing on that more. I will still be interested in voice projects but not as much anymore

I did also signed a contract and when the work was completed they asked me to add their boss on telegram and they were trying to get me to open a new bank account with some weird bank. Needless to say, I still haven't gotten paid for me work.

This sounds a lot like my "first paid gig" way back in February. Some guy messaged me on CCC and offered $900 for an audio version of this law book he had me read for a company he was impersonating. As said as it is, if it's too good to be true, it probably is

So I recorded and edited an entire 2 hour movie in 7 days and the director (who is also a voice actor) has now ghosted/blocked me and basically took my work and wont pay me the $900 they owe me and my team 🙂🙂
