@mark_robinson_ I love Old Trafford. The history. What it represents. But it’s tired. And it’s not a world class venue any more. A new stadium, built with the right approach, could be absolutely massive for helping the club move forward. 100k fans shouting in a stadium built to enhance noise. 🤌🏻
@DTown_11 I agree. He’s a solid player but there’s nothing elite about anything he does other than maybe endurance. Anderson has failed to convince me he’s a £125m player as well. Again a good runner. Dynamic. Solid on the ball. But nothing that screams world class.
@David_Crayford@CrimeLdn How many Niqab laden women do you see riding around on bikes/e-scooters stealing phones or stabbing people? Pretty stupid to conflate the two.
@MadridXtra Nah. Mbappe is a very good player but he’s primarily a speed merchant who can run past players. Take that away from him and he struggles. R9s dribbling and skill set was on a different level altogether. Power, strength, dribbling, shooting. He had everything a top striker needs.
@BohuslavskaKate No warning sirens. No interceptions. Makes you wonder whether Putin is allowing this to justify escalation or Russia’s military is now now just in a really poor state.
@ManUtd Poor timing if you ask me. In the last 6 months the club has become settled and feels less like a circus. Now you’re bringing cameras in to video everything. We need stability and time for the players to focus. Not a media circus!!
@StretfordPaddck This is really annoying. It finally felt like the club was settling down and becoming less of a circus and now we’re bringing Amazon in to film everything!!
@mrdanwalker Why do fans care if the pundits are in the country or not? We’re tuning in to watch the game. No one cares if the presenters are sunning themselves by a lake in the US or in a studio in Salford.
@soccerpaedia I think the arguments on here highlight the fundamental differences between US and British culture. In the UK we place as much as, if not more value on the culture and history of a venue than its size/extravagance. In the US it feels like everything has to be bigger to be better.
@JeremyClarkson@fecklessfox1000 All the more reason to reintroduce and/or support their natural predators such as sparrow hawks, buzzards, peregrines, foxes, stoats, pine martens etc. We have a disproportionate amount of corvids because their natural predators have been persecuted.
