First home game of the year, and the pacers put their biggest fan on the Jumbotron. Honored to be in the building, let’s beat those pesky sixers. Sorry @maxandes19 to cheer against your squad! #yescers#begreat
Is there a more terrific trio than summer, baseball, and a hot dog? Spending the night at @thevicindy cheering on the hometown team @indyindians! #goindians#begreat
On the eve of Americas 250th birthday I think it is a great exercise to reflect on what this country means to you. And nothing says America more to me than a hot dog straight off the grill. One chili cheese, and one Chicago style. God bless America. #america#beatbelgium#begreat
Very affordable contract, I think he brings something this team didn’t currently have in a bigger wing defender. Still think they need to make a move for one more ballhandler. Whether that is a minimum deal, or a trade involving Shep or Jarace we’ll have to see. #begreat
BREAKING: The Los Angeles Lakers are acquiring Walker Kessler from the Utah Jazz for unprotected first-round picks in 2031 and 2033 and first-round swaps in 2028 and 2030, sources tell ESPN. Kessler will sign a massive four-year, $130 million deal with the Lakers.
What an awesome decision by the league. Perfect combination of a historic college arena, and a city built to host. This is a game I couldn’t be more excited to watch #begreat
Pacers have lacked positional size these last few seasons, and Oubre fits that role perfectly. He also is great in transition and paired with Toppin and McConnell could lead to a dangerous bench unit. Plus he brings some on ball ability as well. Love the fit #begreat
Here’s my list of players I’d have interest in for the Pacers this offseason to fill out the bench:
Free agents:
Luke Kennard
Jock Landale
Sandro Mamukelashvili
Jett Howard
Gary Trent Jr.
Trade:
Lu Dort
Herb Jones
Naji Marshall
Saddiq Bey
Yves Missi
I'm really sorry to all our fans. I own taking this risk. Surprised it came up 5th after this year. I thought we were due some luck. But please remember - this team deserved a starting center to compete with the best teams next year. We have always been resilient.
It’s a risk they had to take, but man this hurts. This team as currently constructed isn’t good enough, and they gave themselves a 52.1% chance to get the piece to get themselves over the hump. Have to be smart and nail trade evaluations now. #begreat
@MDtheDream Injuries are bad luck, but when it happens for 4 consecutive seasons that’s on the staff. Not to mention the in game blunders they’ve had. The team has looked exhausted at the end of all 4 seasons. Not sure what the path to competing with this staff even is.
