Ta-Nehisi Coates on Tucker Carlson and other right-wing figures vocally criticizing Israel: "These people will turn on you in a second" https://t.co/LZgWFhvpSc
This is nuts, Trump really did do exactly what Ryan Grim suggested he do hours earlier: pretend Iran's ten-point plan is a new proposal, counting on the fact that the media hasn't been reporting on Iran's demands to make it look like a new offer Tehran put forward in desperation.
We normalized struggle so much we think it’s success.
Two jobs?=“Hustle.”
Roommates in your 30s?=“Smart financial move.”
$50K in debt?=Just life.”
No. It’s broken.
And they want you too tired to notice.
A. How is it possible that this is a job of the Senate Majority Leader
B. How out of it do you have to be to not know that you are not the Senate Majority Leader but the Senate Minority leader
C. Maybe A. Is related to him not being Senate Majority Leader
Resign now please.
The term “preemptive” is pure propaganda. The U.S. once again used the veneer of negotiations as a cover to bomb Iran. Tehran had just offered terms that went far beyond the 2015 nuclear deal. What was preempted was diplomacy. The same propaganda tactics used in 2003 Iraq war.
Reminder: If Bernie's Social Security bill was signed into law, Social Security would be solvent for the next 75 years, benefits would go up by $2,400 & the bottom 91% of Americans would not pay a penny more in taxes.
Instead, Dr. Oz wants you to work until you drop dead.
There are obviously a lot of shameful moments in American history, but Mexico being forced to send militarily protected humanitarian relief to a Cuban population we are starving for now reason, while we all stuff our faces with chicken wings, has to rank among our low moments
If you want a sense of how dire the situation is in Cuba now, here is a list of the measures the Cuban president says the nation has started taking to try to keep people in nursing homes and hospitals alive while Trump and Rubio choke the island of essentials, which the Cuban government is now referring to a "genocidal blockade" -- which is absolutely will be if it is allowed to persist.
Cuba is not at war with anybody yet we are starving them...because why? Because Marco Rubio wants to?
From the office of the Cuban presidency:
This Friday, measures adopted by the country’s leadership were announced in response to the nation’s current situation, amid the intensification of the #GenocidalBlockade.

Trump deciding to sue his own administration for $10 billion, is basically Trump stealing $10 billion from taxpayers.
But somehow, poor people getting a soda with SNAP is the scandal.
