At MY Academy, every student receives a personalized course of study, a “MY PLAN” – Motivated Youth Personalized Learning Adventure Now. This plan is based on their own interests and support levels. That’s one of the many reasons students thrive at MYA.
MY Academy strives to fully prepare students for all life pursuits. The Credit Recovery Pathway is available to students who would like to earn credits toward their High School diploma. Plus, students can graduate when all the requirements are met without waiting till June.
MY Academy brings a unique lens of celebrating student interests. From following a lifelong passion of playing soccer to creating opportunities for students to share special talents with one another. Our staff takes the time to engage students in what truly interests them.
MY Academy is a tuition-free California non-classroom-based public charter school that educates students seeking a personalized alternative to the traditional education model.

Is there a better way to celebrate National Soccer Day than to highlight MY Academy Alumni Brandon Vasquez scoring his career first hat trick? We think not! Wait to see his three goals and career accomplishment against Chivas de Guadalajara in the next video.

MY Academy's Independent Study Program gives students the flexibility to choose how they use their time – for school, for family, and for fun – and gives them individualized support from a teacher during weekly one-to-one in-person sessions.
MY Academy offers different outlets to spark students’ interests. One program is our Book Club that meets once a month! Benefits of Book Club are making new friends, getting different perspectives on what you read, and reading something you may not have chosen.
