नंदुरबार जिल्ह्यातील केळी व पपई उत्पादक शेतकऱ्यांच्या विविध प्रश्नांबाबत जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालय येथे आढावा बैठक संपन्न झाली.

आज नंदुरबार येथे जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालयात केळी व पपई उत्पादक शेतकऱ्यांच्या विविध प्रलंबित प्रश्नांबाबत आढावा बैठक घेतली. यावेळी शेतकरी प्रतिनिधींनी केळी व पपई उत्पादकांना भेडसावणाऱ्या विविध समस्या तसेच त्यांच्या मागण्या सविस्तर मांडल्या.

शेतकरी बांधवांनी नंदुरबारसाठी स्वतंत्र केळी विकास मंडळ (Banana Development Board) स्थापन करणे, केळीचा दर नंदुरबारमध्येच निश्चित करण्याची व्यवस्था निर्माण करणे तसेच पपई पिकालाही मनरेगा अंतर्गत अनुदानाचा लाभ देण्यासह विविध मागण्या मांडल्या.

शेतकरी बांधवांचे म्हणणे संवेदनशीलतेने ऐकून घेत संबंधित विषय केंद्र व राज्य शासनाच्या स्तरावर मांडून आवश्यक ती कार्यवाही करण्यासाठी निश्चित प्रयत्न करण्यात येतील, अशी ग्वाही यावेळी दिली.

याप्रसंगी जिल्हाधिकारी डॉ. मिताली सेठी, विविध शेतकरी संघटनांचे पदाधिकारी, कृषी विभागाचे अधिकारी तसेच मोठ्या संख्येने केळी व पपई उत्पादक शेतकरी उपस्थित होते.

तसेच, शेतकऱ्यांच्या समस्यांवर अधिक सविस्तर चर्चा करून तातडीने उपाययोजना निश्चित करण्यासाठी येत्या शनिवारी कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समिती, शहादा येथे विशेष बैठक आयोजित करण्यात आली असून, सर्व संबंधित शेतकरी बांधवांनी उपस्थित राहावे, असे आवाहन करण्यात आले.

शेतकऱ्यांचे हित आणि कृषी क्षेत्राचा सर्वांगीण विकास हेच आमच्या सरकारचे सर्वोच्च प्राधान्य आहे.

From the margins to the mainstream, the North East is scripting a new sporting story!

Reviewed preparations for the 39th National Games 2027 with CM of Meghalaya Shri @SangmaConrad, MoS Youth Affairs & Sports Smt @khadseraksha, IOA President Smt @PTUshaOfficial, and senior officials from the North Eastern states.

Under PM Shri @narendramodi ji’s leadership, the Games will showcase the vibrant culture, hospitality, and sporting spirit of our Ashtalakshmi states.

Along with Hon’ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya @SangmaConrad, inaugurated the Integrated Sports Indoor Hall in Shillong, Meghalaya, and witnessed the historic MoU signing between the IOA and the State Government for hosting the 39th National Games in 2027.

Under the visionary leadership of PM Shri @narendramodi ji, sports infrastructure across our Ashtalakshmi states has witnessed remarkable transformation over the last 12 years.

THE ROAD TO THE 39TH NATIONAL GAMES BEGINS WITH A SHARED VISION, WORLD-CLASS INFRASTRUCTURE, AND THE COLLECTIVE ASPIRATIONS OF THE NORTHEAST.

Attended the review meeting on preparations for the 39th National Games 2027 in Shillong, chaired by Hon’ble Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya ji.

The meeting was attended by Meghalaya Chief Minister Shri Conrad K. Sangma ji, Meghalaya Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Shri Wailadmiki Shylla ji, Indian Olympic Association President Dr. P. T. Usha ji, senior officials from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, and representatives of the North Eastern States.

We reviewed the progress of sports infrastructure development, venue readiness, coordination mechanisms, athlete support systems, and other key preparations to ensure the successful hosting of the National Games 2027.

Today also marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of the Integrated Hospitality & Sports Complex at J.N. Sports Complex, Polo. Developed under the Meghalaya Eco-Tourism Infrastructure Development Project with support from the New Development Bank, this world-class facility will serve as one of the key venues for the 39th National Games. The complex reflects what visionary leadership, strategic planning, and effective execution can achieve in creating lasting sporting infrastructure for future generations.

Another defining moment in Meghalaya’s sporting journey was the signing of the Host State Agreement for the 39th National Games 2027. This is not merely an agreement to host a sporting event, but a reflection of the growing sporting aspirations and capabilities of the Northeast.

What makes these National Games truly special is their regional character. While Meghalaya will serve as the host state, sister states across the Northeast will also have host participation rights in disciplines conducted within their territories, making the Games a unique celebration of regional collaboration, unity, and sporting excellence.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and the guidance of Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya ji, we are committed to ensuring that the 39th National Games leave behind a lasting legacy of world-class infrastructure, athlete development, and greater sporting opportunities for the youth of the Northeast.

Together, the Northeast is ready to welcome athletes from across India and showcase its strength, hospitality, and immense sporting potential. 🇮🇳🏅
