नई दिल्ली में आयोजित एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में मैंने अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर देशव्यापी ASMITA लीग की घोषणा की।

8 मार्च को देश के 250 स्थानों पर अंडर-13, 13–18 और 18+ आयु वर्ग की बालिकाओं एवं महिलाओं के लिए एथलेटिक्स प्रतियोगिताएँ आयोजित की जाएंगी।

यह पहल खेलो इंडिया, माय भारत और SAI के संयुक्त प्रयास से गाँवों और छोटे शहरों की बेटियों को खेल को करियर के रूप में अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित करने हेतु की जा रही है, जो माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के विज़न के अनुरूप है।

एक ही दिन में लगभग 2.5 लाख से अधिक महिलाओं की भागीदारी के साथ यह अभियान आत्मविश्वास, अवसर और राष्ट्र निर्माण का प्रतीक बनेगा।

जब बेटियाँ दौड़ेंगी, तभी भारत आगे बढ़ेगा। 🇮🇳

At a press conference in New Delhi, I announced a unique nationwide #ASMITA League to mark #InternationalWomensDay.

On March 8, athletics events will be held simultaneously at 250 locations across India for girls and women in the Under-13, 13–18 and 18+ age groups.

This joint initiative of Khelo India, MY Bharat and SAI aims to encourage girls from villages and small towns to adopt sports as a career, in line with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

With an expected participation of over 2.5 lakh women in a single day, this movement stands for confidence, opportunity and nation-building through sport.

When girls run, India rises. 🇮🇳

आज के दिन का शानदार समापन SAI NSSC, बेंगलुरु में हमारे एथलीटों के साथ हुआ।

दिन भर की कठोर ट्रेनिंग के बाद भी खिलाड़ियों के चेहरों पर जो ऊर्जा थी, वह देखने लायक थी। मैंने भी उनके बीच बैठकर भोजन की थाली साझा की। इस शानदार और पौष्टिक आहार को ग्रहण करते हुए अहसास हुआ कि क्यों इस कैंपस को FSSAI का प्रतिष्ठित 5-Star 'Eat Right Campus' सम्मान मिला है।

किसी भी खिलाड़ी की सफलता केवल मैदान पर नहीं, बल्कि डाइनिंग टेबल पर भी आकार लेती है। खेलों में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन के लिए कड़ी ट्रेनिंग के साथ-साथ सही 'Nutritious Food' जीत की सबसे मजबूत नींव है।
