@alexmca88889374@MrGabeHernandez I agree he's only had one miss out of probably 8 or 10 bodies of work. I think hes pretty solid. The problem is people hyped him up and labeled him as "the next alan moore" 2 years in. The internet sucks dead internet is real lol
@alexmca88889374@MrGabeHernandez Each vote is becoming just a demographic representation. Borderline tribalism its more "who's political view do you align with" more than which book do you think was the best this year
@alexmca88889374@MrGabeHernandez You see the goul post shift? When you look at deniz camps writing hes definitely not hiding his political views and I respect him for it, but he goes nominated for 5 eisners because he fits their agenda, not because of the titles sadly
@MrGabeHernandez@Animoon1993 Always some weirdo with 13 flags in their bio that doesnt know who or what they are that praises people who call for political violence on social media how stereotypical can one get. I think hes a pretty good writer tbh hes just not "the next alan moore"
@MrGabeHernandez@worthitorwoke Especially if you go based off league of comicbookgeeks. Obviously not everyone buying comics is using that website but if absolute batman has 50k pulls and the comic sells 200k. You can assume at least a small 25% of the numbers are valid. If you extrapolate it. Marvel is cooked
@MrGabeHernandez@worthitorwoke Not to be that guy but im pretty sure books like nightwing, justice league, bat woman, pretty much every bat book as well as action and detective outsell every marvel comic today except for possibly a spiderman or x men that everyone knows sucks but still buys. Thats - absolute
