On 4 December 2025, H.E. Ambassador Mohd Adli Abdullah participated in the Aqtobe Investment Forum 2025, which brought together investors and representatives from more than 20 countries, including international organisations, technology hubs, and major industrial corporations.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss avenues for strengthening cooperation between Malaysia and the Aktobe Region, particularly in trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges.

On 21 September 2025, H.E. Amb Mohd Adli Abdullah attended the Education Fair organized by EMGS at Rixos President Hotel, Astana. The fair, part of EMGS’s education promotion tour in Kazakhstan from 20–24 September covering Astana and Almaty,
featured nine Malaysian universities and one international college, attracting strong interest from Kazakh students keen to pursue their studies in Malaysia.
