On 28 February 2026, the ASEAN Committee in Caracas (ACC) organised its annual ASEAN & Friends Bowling Tournament, bringing together ASEAN families in Caracas for a day of friendly competition and shared laughter.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the ASEAN Committee in Caracas’ upcoming activities and explore potential areas of collaboration to further strengthen relations between ASEAN and Venezuela.
The Heads of Mission of Malaysia, Indonesia, Viet Nam and Thailand paid a courtesy call on H.E. Andrea Gabriela Corao Faría at Casa Amarilla on 24 February 2026 to discuss upcoming ASEAN activities and future collaboration.

On 6 Feb 2026, the Heads of Mission of the ASEAN Committee in Caracas came together for a breakfast session, graciously hosted by H.E. Vũ Trung Mỹ, Ambassador of Vietnam. The session focused on exchanging views and coordinating the programmes to be organised by the ACC in 2026
The meeting focused on exploring avenues for collaboration, with particular emphasis on cultural exchange programmes as a means to strengthen people-to-people engagement and foster closer ties between ASEAN and the local community in Chacao.
On 4 February 2026, the ASEAN Committee in Caracas Secretariat met with the Chacao Municipal Council, led by Mr. Oscar González, for a productive exchange of views.

On 1 November 2025, the ASEAN Committee in Caracas (ACC), comprising Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, successfully hosted the vibrant ASEAN Food Bazaar 2025 at Parque del Este, with the special participation of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China.
The event was graced by Ms. Ligia Pinto from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, and attracted large crowds eager to experience the rich culinary diversity of ASEAN and China.

The Embassy also welcomed UCV’s interest in strengthening collaboration, including future participation in university programmes related to international relations.
During the session, the Chargé d’Affaires briefed the students on the role and responsibilities of the Embassy and highlighted Malaysia’s vibrant education sector, rich cultural heritage, unique tourism attractions, and dynamic economy.
