On 8 October 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia in Cairo hosted a reception to commemorate the 68th National Day of Malaysia, Malaysia Day and Armed Forces Day.

The event was graced by Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply, as the Representative of the Government of Egypt.

Guests were treated to a taste of Malaysia with a selection of authentic Malaysian delicacies such as satay & rendang with pulut kuning, specially prepared to tantalise the taste buds.
