Parliament should not simply be an extension to the Executive. Checks and balances means they are and must be co-equal. MPs should stop tolerating such a treatment from the Executive.

Dewan Rakyat is now debating a motion by Batu Sapi (PH), Minister in the PMD to discuss Laporan Tahunan dan Penyata Kewangan SUHAKAM 2018. Batu Sapi noted that the motion is unprecedented.

The Dep. Speaker, Teluk Intan (PH) today paid tribute to Datuk Roosme Hamzah, the Secretary of Dewan Rakyat who is retiring early next year, which means today will be the last session for her. She has served the Dewan Rakyat as Secretary since 2007 & as a civil servant for 40 yrs

There is only one bill appeared on the order paper, RUU Racun (Pindaan) 2019. The rest are motions. Let's see if any of them will be selected and debated today. You'll notice that the constitutional amendment bill is not in it. The 2nd/3rd readings will be held next year
