arms cross over his chest as he waits for a response, patiently. his expression isn’t stern—quite the contrary. it’s calm, and welcoming. a doctor waiting for his patient to explain their problem before receiving a diagnosis.
a light chuckle at the comment about new yorkers,
Brows furrowed, the blonde looks quizzical. Kara brushes a strand of hair behind her ear before blowing out a huff of air— dejection evident.
Opening her mouth, she pauses at seeing the guy’s clad in robes. Interesting.
“Hey, sorry— feels like I’ve been trying to get +

though his brow raises as what she says next, looking on quizzically. “and you expected to find someone by going door to door?” he asks.
perhaps she had been pointed in this direction, perhaps not. yes, it was true that new york had its fair share

with a bit more dramatic opening than need be, he speaks, “how may i be
