रावेर लोकसभा मतदारसंघासह संपूर्ण जळगाव जिल्ह्यातील केळी उत्पादक शेतकरी बांधवांना यंदाच्या हंगामात वादळी पाऊस आणि हवामानातील बदलांमुळे मोठ्या नुकसानीला सामोरे जावे लागले आहे. या पार्श्वभूमीवर, बाधित शेतकरी बांधवांना त्यांच्या हक्काची नुकसानभरपाई लवकरात लवकर मिळावी, यासाठी केंद्रीय कृषी मंत्रालयातील संब���धित संचालक चंद्रजित चटर्जी आणि 'एआयसी' (AIC - ॲग्रीकल्चर इन्शुरन्स कंपनी ऑफ इंडिया) च्या वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांसोबत नुकतीच एक अत्यंत महत्त्वाची आढावा बैठक पार पडली.

बैठकीतील महत्त्वाचे निर्णय व मागण्या:
• ​⁠त्रुटी दुर���स्ती: पीक विम्यातील तांत्रिक अडचणी, नावातील चुका आणि कमी दाखवले जाणारे क्षेत्र या त्रुटी तातडीने दुरुस्त करण्याचे निर्देश.

• ​हवामान केंद्र: अचूक नोंदींसाठी स्थानिक पातळीवर वेदर स्टेशनची (हवामान केंद्र) संख्या वाढवण्यावर भर.

• ​दोन्ही हंगामांचा समावेश: शेतकऱ्यांना दुहेरी संरक्षण देण्यासाठी खरीप आणि रब्बी अशा दोन्ही हंगामांतील विमा समाविष्ट करण्याची मागणी.

• ​पपई पिकाचा समावेश: ���ेळीसोबतच जिल्ह्यातील पपई पिकालाही विम्याचे कवच देण्याबाबत सकारात्मक चर्चा.

​या बैठकीत पीक विम्याच्या मंजुरी प्रक्रियेला गती देऊन प्रत्येक पात्र शेतकऱ्याला त्याची हक्काची रक्कम विनाविलंब मिळवून देण्याबाबत अधिकाऱ्यांना स्पष्ट निर्देश देण्यात आले आहेत. संकटाच्या या काळात आमचे सरकार पूर्ण ताकदीने शेतकरी बांधवांच्या पाठीशी उभे आहे.

​शेतकऱ्यांचे आर्थिक नुकसान भरून काढणे आणि त्यांना योग्य दिलासा देणे ही आमची प्राथमिकता असून, शेवटच्या पात्र शेतकऱ्याला मदत मिळेपर्यंत आमचा हा पाठपुरावा अविरत सुरू राहील.
