NEW: UNRWA chief Lazzarini now has the names of 100 staff who are Hamas terrorists. He has our dossier proving his teachers union chief Fathi al-Sharif is a terrorist. Tomorrow is UNRWA's pledging conference in NY. Until he fires them, we call on 🇫🇷🇩🇪🇬🇧🇨🇦🇸🇪 not to pledge a dime.
@skjask We never learned anything about traditional Judaism, just things like "Orthodox Jews don't do work on Shabbat so they don't turn the lights off. That's not work. So it's ridiculous." That's all I learned about Shabbat observance. I didn't even know Jews went to shul on Saturday.
@skjask This happens to me & I'm not even that frum. The ridicule I've gotten from secular friends & relatives - my father told me I"m "a fanatic like Khomeini" for keeping Shabbat - is incredible. I understand why tho. Growing up Reform, I was indoctrinated against Orthodox Judaism.
@allergictobs123@VerminusM So Jews aren't indigenous to Palestine? Wait, so were King David and Jesus Arabs? There have been Jews living in that land continuously for several thousand years -- since long before Islam existed. Why do you think we're called Jews? It's because we're from Judea.
@fesshole That was perhaps the stupidest book I ever finished. I only finished it because my boss made me read it too. I never quite got back my respect for my boss. (PS - read Lucy Kellaway's "Martin Lukes: Who Moved My BlackBerry?" instead. Much better. )
@Schlaflosinwien @fesshole That's a great idea! I miss visiting someone and perusing their bookshelf to get an idea of their interests and to see where our interests and experiences might intersect. Seeing a book I've read on someone's bookshelf is like learning we have a friend in common.
@Mandyque @fesshole Why is it sexual harassment just to look? If you don't want someone to look, then don't show. If it's visible without contortions, then he's free to look. Why should we alter our behavior to make you comfortable to save you the trouble of altering your own behavior?
@just_plain_Rick@fesshole I think that was Marie Antoinette's view too. I gather she used to undress in front of the servants because she didn't think they were 100% human.

You should fight them till they give you

There is no conceivability of peace between Muslims and non-Muslims.

A wonderful article from 2019 by Myriam Tangi about her visit to Yemen in the 1980s. The accompanying photos are simultaneously breathtaking and heartbreaking.
“The photos of Yemenite Jews that we took 30-odd years ago [in Yemen] record a world that no longer exists.”

I wish we could say that the Palestinians were “hijacked” by Hamas and the people themselves actually seek peace and prosperity, but the facts show the opposite:
- The latest poll from days ago shows that 67% of the Palestinians SUPPORT the October 7th massacre.
- In the only democratic elections to the Palestinian Authority (Jan 2006), Hamas won an absolute majority of seats in the parliament: 76 out of 132 seats, while Fatah got only 48 seats.
- Every poll since shows that Hamas would win again. That’s why Abbas has avoided any further elections. He’d lose and he knows it.
- On October 7th, thousands of random Gazans joined the massacre, slaughtering families, burning adults and children, raping women.
- I’m not aware of even ONE case of a Gaza resident that actively opposed this violence.
So a majority of Palestinians support horrible crimes and many of them participated in one way or another (e.g. using their homes as Hamas ammunition storage).
Why is this important?
1. The truth always matters.
2. To make any progress, first we're going to need to stop the brain poisoning that every Palestinian goes through. It turns many into murderers. If you're brain-poisoned to believe that Jews are the Satan and pigs, nobody should be surprised when you actually go out to murder them.
3. No diplomatic plan can skip that.
4. The claim that "their tough condition" is what turns them into murderers is false. There are billions of people who live in poverty and much worse conditions that don’t become savage murderers.
Actually, the Palestinians have much better conditions than most other Arabs, and prior to October 7th they were enjoying considerable economic growth.
Long term, a necessary step for progress will be to de-Nazify Gaza and many of the Palestinian public.
First, we need to defeat Hamas.
Between 1970- 1979, The Shah placed my father, a Jew, in charge of Iran's coal mining, the second largest industry after oil. He was given blank checks to travel to Russia, France, and Israel and to import the latest innovations and to buy giant machinery from companies like Caterpillar. He built cities, roads, schools, playgrounds, theaters and hospitals all dedicated to mining engineers, technicians, and their families. All his friends and employees were Muslim. I recall when I was just a few years old, my father would come home exhausted having spent days driving in the desert to ensure the safety of the miners. Uncles and friends would come to visit him. I remember eavesdropping on their private conversations. Visitors would beg him: "You are just a government employee. Why don't you just write a check to yourself or buy yourself a home?" Another would ask "I have a construction company. Take a few bids, then give me the job and I'll give you a hefty profit." His answer was always the same: "I was trusted to do my job and I will serve Iran to the best of my capacity and with integrity." He never stole a dollar, and we escaped Iran as poor Jews. When I was in college, I used to begrudge my dad for not taking his share from a country that sucked out his blood and spat him out. Today, I know I would do exactly the same thing. For some of us, given a decent life of comfort, prestige, and honor, there is no amount of money that can buy a good name and a clear conscience. Good job dad! You make me proud as a Jew and as a Persian man that was once brought to Iran by Cyrus the Great. And thank you mom for all your support and hard work over the years. Love you. Happy #FathersDay #ModehAni ❤️🙏
Jezia (Jizya) is the extra tax imposed on non-Muslims (Dhimmis) who live under Muslim rule according to the Qur'an and Hadith. It is in effect a discrimination tax, you would NEVER see people justify it these days. All those who troll us and are ready to justify it, think carefully before you justify it.
"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold forbidden that which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jezia with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." Quran 9:29
"I call you to God and to Islam. If you respond to the call, then you are Muslims: You obtain the benefits they enjoy and take up the responsibilities they bear. If you refuse, then you must pay the jizyah. If you refuse the jizyah, I will bring against you tribes of people who are more eager for death than you are for life. We will then fight you until God decides between us and you." (Al Tabari, Volume XI)
Khalid bin Al-Waheed (Muslim General, 632AD)
Summon the people to God; those who respond to your call, accept it from them, but those who refuse must pay the poll tax out of humiliation and lowliness. If they refuse this, it is the sword without leniency. Fear God with regard to what you have been entrusted. (Al Tabari, Volume XII)
Umar ibn al-Khattab during the conquest of al-Basrah (636 CE)
There are some who will say, it is just like taxation in civilised countries. We pay similar tax called "Zakat". Zakat is 5% of profit you make, it is required (wajeb). If you don't pay it, your punishment is with Allah, same as failing to pray. Jezia is penalty, it is not linked to income, Umar set the bar as one gold coin per person. If you do not pay it, the person could be killed, boys enslaved, women and girls taken as women sex slaves (Melk Alyamen). Did you spot the difference?

"The 3000 Nazis were no match for maybe 100 of these Jewish gangsters."
This is the incredible story of how Jewish American gangsters handled a bunch of Nazis in NYC in the 1930's.
The story is told by @MichaelFranzese, son of John "Sonny" Franzese Sr, a former underboss of the Colombo crime family who was part of that mob era in NYC.
According to Franzese, German Nazis rallied in the thousands in NYC, trying to stir up both support for the Nazis within the US, and hatred for Jews.
(Sound familiar yet?)
The Jews did not let these rallies take place while their brothers were being slaughtered overseas for long. The Jewish mafia, with support from their friends in the Italian mafia, organized at the request of a judge named Perlman and gave the Nazis an old-fashioned ass-whooping.
Watch Mr. Franzese tell this amazing story of a time long gone, but too familiar. It would be really nice if people just stop messing with the Jews.
